Are you a big sports fan? Do you not only watch sports but know all of the top players down to what their children’s names are? Do you also happen to be looking for one of those legitimate work at home jobs? If so, you might want to consider being a sports writer. I’m not talking about being a writer for some big sports site or magazine. I’m talk about about either creating your own site and writing about what’s going on in the world of sports and your observations or finding a company or person who has a site who is looking for writers.
The amount of money you get will really depend on the depth of the articles but it’s not uncommon to get $20 an article or more. Now if you’re planning to create your own site, one of the most important things to build is a fan base. Sports fans love talking about sports with other sports fans. Even if you create a forum and have some lively debate on who’s going to win the Superbowl this year, it could be good for business in terms of drawing attention. One way you would make money from this is to charge for ad space. This will only happen once you get enough visitors to your site.

Athletes foot is a colloquial term for a fungal skin infection caused by a group of fungal organisms known as dermatophytes. The more formal, medical terms for the condition are tinea pedis and ringworm of the foot. So why did the term athletes foot come about? Surely it’s not just athletes that get the condition?
That’s correct, anyone can develop this fungal skin infection. But it does appear that athletes have a higher incidence rate. Here are some of the reasons why that is the case.
- As the condition can be passed by direct, person to person contact, people who engage in lots of contact sport put themselves in a higher-risk bracket.
- Athletes foot can also be passed by in-direct contact and a sure fire way of developing the infection is to walk around barefoot in public locker rooms or shower rooms where the floors are damp. Many athletes and gym-goers don’t wear protective footwear and these environments.
- Another reasons why athletes are more susceptible is their tendency to wear sweaty shoes and socks for long periods of time following exercise. The fungal organisms that cause athletes foot will develop quickly in these kinds of damp, protected, dark and airless environments.
- Sharing personal items such as towels and nail instruments with people who may be infected is another way of catching the disease.

Are you the coach for a high school or middle school soccer team? If you are, you’ll completely understand the need for a locker room for both preparation and hyping your team up for the game, as well as going over what may have gone wrong in the game the team just played. With this being said, you’ve probably never thought about what type of decor is being used inside the locker room. Any why would you, exactly? You might want to take the time to think about it because using the right decor can help both hype your team up, as well as let them know exactly how serious the situation is when big mistakes were made out on the field.
I’m talking about the types of blinds that you put over the windows inside the locker room. Using bamboo blinds and shades inside the locker room will give you the chance to open the blinds, let the light in, and let the team see out onto the field when you are trying to hype them up. The large slats can also be closed to make a dramatic appeal to your team’s senses when you are trying to let them know the serious problems that were made on the field, and how to fix them before next period or game.

Buying prescription sports glasses, especially online, is pretty straight forward. Due to the sheer volume of online outlets that supply a wide range of prescription eyewear, finding the perfect pair should be pretty easy. Providing that you’ve had a recent eye examination, matching your eye’s needs to those of the correct frame and style (according to your chosen sport) is as easy as getting online and finding the right outlet. It doesn’t matter whether your sport of choice involves running, swimming, something relaxed such as golf, or a high octane sport such as downhill skiing, there’s a pair out there for everyone.
What’s even better is the fact that there are plenty of discount eyeglasses to be found, in part due to the incredible amount of eyewear outlets available. Since the internet took off more and more organization’s have moved their business online, predominantly as a means of reaching a wider audience. This creates intense competition between the different outlets, which in turn drives prices down. That’s great for the buyer (us!) and keeps pricing a lot more buoyant that it may otherwise be.
Plus you can afford to be choosy, as you can buy your sports glasses from wherever you like – overseas, out of state and so on. Of course there’s the postage to be paid for but this tends to be stable despite the location of the outlet that you buy from. From the buyer’s perspective, you have a wealth of choice and a wide variety of prices available at your fingertips. All you need to do is find the right prescription sports glasses, at the price you’re willing to pay.

Any youth soccer coach knows how hungry kids get when playing soccer. With the Oneida 24-Count Cupcake Carrying Case you can easily make sure that you have enough cupcakes for the kids on both teams. If you’ve got your hands full with kids and sports equipment, you don’t need to be worrying about the after-game cupcakes surviving! This popular cupcake carrier has received an overall ranking of 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with 71 reviews. The best part for me is that its under $20 to buy on Amazon.
You don’t have to make traditional cupcake batter when you make your own. You can come up with some healthy alternative cupcakes that taste great but don’t have the fat or sugar content.
I also love that one of the 12-cupcake layers is an actual high-quality non-stick aluminum cupcake pan. It’s oven-safe up to 450 degrees F and is designed to be easily put in the oven and then taken out. The perfect bake and carry case.
This is also a great way to store your cupcakes in the refrigerator, if you’ve got the room. It will keep them fresh longer. For me it’s a dieter’s trick to hide them a bit. So I don’t think of them every time I’m in the kitchen.

When I was growing up my dad used to run a Sunday league football team, which was a bit of a mixed blessing for us kids. On the one hand it meant that we had a great chance of getting picked for the team each week, but on the other we never knew if we were being picked based on skill or nepotism. Tricky situation, really, and it was only solved when I transferred to another football team and found that my playing time dropped like a rock. Ah. I see.
Anyway, one of my dad’s weird little things was that he was a huge fan of natural mosquito repellent. Every week the team would arrive to find him handing out mosquito repelling wristbands or spraying Listerine mosquito repellent on the field (seriously, look it up). It was embarrassing for me and my brother, but absolutely nothing could convince my dad that natural mosquito repellent wasn’t as good as DEET.
I remember one time, early on in my Sunday league football career, when my dad forgot to bring any mosquito repellent to the field. He was just about to rush home and pick some up when one of the player’s parents grabbed a bottle of DEET from their car and offered it around. We got no bites during the game, but to make my dad feel better I pretended to scratch all day

Georgia is known for its fine Georgia peaches and the wonderful flavor that they add to many southern food dishes. You’d be surprised to what southerners will add a peach to. Many traditional southern food dishes have been inspired by Georgians’ love for their scrumptious peaches. To add one more to the list that you might be making in your mind is grilled shrimp and peach skewers. They’re awesome!
Grilled Shrimp and Peach Skewers
What you’ll need:
· 1 lb peeled and deveined large shrimp
· 4 tbs of olive oil
· juice of 2 fresh squeezed limes
· 2 tbs of vinegar
· 1 tbs of Splenda or sugar
· ½ tsp of ground red pepper
· 1 clove of garlic minced
· 1 large red bell pepper, bite size slices
· 1 red onion, bite size slices
· 3 peaches, peeled and sliced into bite size slices
Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels. In medium sized mixing bowl add olive oil, lime juice, vinegar, Splenda, ground red pepper, and minced garlic. Mix well. Place shrimp into the mixture and set aside. Place a slice of bell pepper, red onion, peach, and shrimp to skewers alternating until skewers are full. Grill skewers over medium heat until shrimp are cooked thoroughly. Enjoy!
